So it's another new year..

Here it is again. The beginning of a new year. This time of year always feels quite daunting to me, as if the last year is a chapter that has been closed and now its time to move on, create new goals and start all over again.

However, this year is different.

Most of the things you worry about, never happen.

Take 5 minutes to relax every so often! It works wonders..

My anxiety is something that has really held me back during the whole of 2016..and 2015, 2014, 2013.. etc etc but it is something that this year I am determined to change. No longer will I be confined to only doing things I feel are "safe" and wont challenge me at all. This year is going to be all about challenges.

To kick start the year, I have set myself two challenges - the first being not to spend ANY money on anything that is not needed. My anxiety got so bad last year that I had to leave my job and start all over again at the bottom of the career ladder. While this has been amazing for my mental well-being, it hasn't been so great on my bank account and I need to retrain myself in to only spending on necessities.

The second challenge I have set myself is to do the 30 day squat challenge. I go to the gym regularly, and really enjoy exercise. The feeling that you have accomplished something after every work out is a feeling I don't want to give up, and over the festive break I have really missed working out. I go with my best friend and honestly it's so much fun. I am on Day 2, and so far, so good.

I don't know what this year holds for me and for once I am not scared. I am excited. Let's make some memories.
